BIOGRAFIE - auf deutsch
Mark Blezinger ist ein multidisziplinärer Künstler und begeisterter Vertreter des freien und kreativen Geistes. Er reist zwischen Fotografie, Theater und bewegten Bildern. Für ihn ist die Reise eine pluralistische, künstlerische Reise, aber auch eine geografische, sprachliche: kurz gesagt, eine existenzielle.
Sie begann am 28. Dezember im Jahr 1962 in Baden-Baden, gegen 19 Uhr, heisst es.
Als junger Deutscher wächst er zusammen mit seiner Keramikermutter, die ihm die Liebe zu den Wundern der Natur und der Schöpfung übermittelt, in einer magischen Landschaft am Rande des Schwarzwaldes auf. Reisen ist eine Berufung und mit gerade fünfzehn Jahren startet er in dieses Abenteuer und fährt nach Frankreich um das Bread and Puppet Theatre und das Théâtre du Soleil zu treffen, mit denen er seine ersten Theatererfahrungen sammeln kann.
Bis zum Abitur ist jeder Schulurlaub eine neue Gelegenheit Europa zu entdecken - danach studiert er Theaterwissenschaften und Philosophie an der Universität von Paris 8. Sehr schnell arbeitet er als Regieassistent, zuerst in Frankreich im Théâtre des Amandiers von Patrice Chéreau und dann in der Schaubühne in West-Berlin. Er assistiert regelmässig Regisseuren wie Luc Bondy, Klaus-Michael Grüber, Peter Stein oder Andrzej Wajda.
In Berlin zeigt er erstmals seine fotografischen Inszenierungen zum Ausdruck der Gemütsbewegungen in der Arbeit mit den Schauspielern der Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz.
1989, vor dem Fall der Mauer, kehrt er als junger Vater nach Paris zurück, wo er erneut mit großen Regisseuren wie Bob Wilson im Theater oder Heiner Müller im Dokumentarfilm zusammenarbeitet, aber auch seine ersten Inszenierungen am Odéon-Théâtre de l’Europe und im Théâtre du Rond-Point sowie beim Festival d'Avignon erschafft. Er gründet die Béla Compagnie.
Seine Energie und die reichen Erfahrungen prädestinieren ihn zum Kulturprogrammgestalter und Organisator von internationalen, qualitativ hochstehenden Veranstaltungen. Er arbeitet sechs Jahre für die Académie Expérimentale des Théâtres und gestaltet auch über eine Saison das Kulturprogramm des Pariser Goethe-Institut.
Er ist Ko-Autor eines Buchs über den Regisseur Klaus-Michael Grüber, dem er später auch Radiosendungen widmet.
Seine Leidenschaft für das Kino führt ihn jedoch zu den neuen digitalenTechniken der Bildbearbeitung und er beginnt mit der Erstellung von Videos für die Bühne, aber auch mit der Realisierung von Kurz- und Dokumentarfilmen, beispielsweise für Arte und dem ZDF, immer im Geist der Theatertruppen, wo er alle Rollen spielt: Schauspieler, Kameramann, Monteur, Regisseur und Bühnenbildner.
Getreu seiner Leidenschaft für das Reisen realisiert er in Südamerika, Europa und Asien sowohl Filme für das Fernsehen als auch Videokreationen für Theateraufführungen.
Aus Neugier visuelle Technologien wie die Alioscopy, die 3D-Sicht ohne Brille ermöglicht, zu erlernen, kreiert er neue imaginäre Welten. Ab 2005 stellt er diese Lentikular-Bilder und andere fotografischn Kreationen regelmäßig auf europäischen Kunstmessen und Galerien aus.
Bei Dreharbeiten zu einem Porträt des Bildhauers Giuliano Pedretti für das Rätische Fernsehen entdeckt er das Engadin in den Schweizer Alpen. Dieses mythische Hochtal wird für ihn zu einem neuen Feld der Kreativität. Nachdem er seine fotografischen Erkundungen der Alpenwelt in mehreren Schweizer Galerien ausgestellt hat, schlägt er dem Kulturarchiv Oberengadin vor, dessen Sammlungen zu digitalisieren, um sie in Form von Fotografien, Filmen und Projektionen in Kunstwerke umzuwandeln und zu neuem Leben zu erwecken. Eine lange Zusammenarbeit beginnt.
Seine erste große Multimedia-Ausstellung Wunderkammer Engadin anlässlich des 25-jährigen Jubiläums erhält den Anerkennungspreis der Schweizer Gesellschaft für Kulturgüterschutz.
Er gründet mit Dora Lardelli, Leiterin des Kulturarchivs, das Programm AlpenMythenSehen. Seit 2013 realisiert er unter diesem Label regelmäßig Multimedia-Installationen und Video-Mappings auf Fassaden zu Themen wie Alpenherbarien, Belle Epoque, Hexen, Arte Rupestre, Maler Giovanni Segantini usw. an vielen historischen Orten und Museen im Alpenraum.
Das Schloss Lautrach im Allgäu zeigt von November 2019 bis Mai 2020 eine große Ausstellung von meist fotografischen Werken aus diesem Schaffens-Zyklus.
Die 2017 mit dem Kulturarchiv in der Chesa Planta in Samedan geschaffene, internationale Wanderausstellung Laterna Magica. Die Kunst der Projektion wurde 2018/19 im Rätischen Museum von Chur in Graubünden und dann 2019/2020 im Théâtre de la Ville - Espace Cardin in Paris, gezeigt.
"Mark Blezingers Arbeiten werden an der Schnittstelle der verschiedenen künstlerischen Disziplinen und der kreativen Räume, in denen er sich entwickelt hat, lebendig. Die Schlüsselwörter sind ‘Bilder’ und ‘Geschichten’ : Die Werke gehören in den Bereich der Figuration, einer explosiven Figuration, die verstört, die mit allen Zeiten spielt, mit allen Orten und allen Referenzen, künstlerisch und mythologisch, gesellschaftlich und kosmisch. Eine Figuration, deren unsichtbare Präsenz auch in den Fotografien natürlicher Landschaften verborgen liegt: Diese, mit einer verstörenden Vertrautheit erfüllten, fotografischen Arbeiten erreichen hier sicherlich den Status von „Landschaftsporträts“. In Bezug auf seine Arbeit kann der Betrachter diese Sinnesreise, die Mark Blezinger fordert, deutlich erleben: „... wenn durch ein Wunder, diese Bilder nach Erde riechen oder zum Klingen bringen, was in uns verborgen ist... ". Eine ununterbrochene Reise, eine immer neue Erfahrung, eine verzauberte Runde, ein Perpetuum Mobile ... "

Artiste pluridisciplinaire et figure enthousiaste de l’Esprit de
créativité, Mark Blezinger voyage entre la photographie, le théâtre et
l’image-mouvement. Pour lui le voyage est pluriel, voyage artistique
mais aussi géographique, linguistique : existentiel.
Il a commencé un 28 décembre en 1962, vers 19 heures semble-t-il.
Jeune Allemand il grandit dans un paysage magique à la lisière de la Forêt noire aux côtés de sa mère céramiste, qui lui transmit l’amour des merveilles de la nature et de la création. Mais le voyage est une vocation, et il se lance dans l’aventure dès ses quinze ans, allant en France à la rencontre du Bread and Puppet Theater et du Théâtre du Soleil, troupes avec lesquelles il fit ses premières armes d’homme de théâtre.
Puis à chaque vacances scolaires il repart toujours à la découverte de l'Europe jusqu’à son entrée à l’Université de Paris 8 en Etudes théâtrales et Philosophie. Très vite il travaille comme assistant à la mise en scène, d’abord en France dans le Théâtre des Amandiers de Patrice Chéreau puis à la Schaubühne de Berlin-Ouest. Il assistera les metteurs en scènes tels que Luc Bondy, Klaus-Michael Grüber, Peter Stein ou Andrzej Wajda.
C’est à Berlin qu’il présentera son travail photographique pour la première fois, à la recherche de l’expression des émotions avec les comédiens de la Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz.
En 1989, avant la chute du mur, jeune père, il retourne vivre à Paris, où il collabore de nouveau avec les grands metteurs en scène comme Bob Wilson au théâtre ou Heiner Müller en film documentaire, mais crée également ses premières mises en scène à Paris au Théâtre de l’Odéon, au Théâtre du Rond-Point et au Festival d'Avignon. Il fonde la Béla Compagnie.
Cette énergie et ces nombreuses expériences font de lui un organisateur et un programmateur d’événements culturels de qualité et d’envergure internationale, avec l’Académie expérimentale des Théâtres pour une durée de six ans et en particulier avec le Goethe Institut de Paris dont il assure la programmation culturelle pendant une saison.
Il est co-auteur d'un livre sur le metteur en scène Klaus-Michael Grüber auquel il va consacrer des émissions radio.
Mais sa passion du cinéma l’entraîne vers les nouvelles techniques digitales de l’image-mouvement, et il se lance dans la création de vidéo pour la scène, mais également dans la réalisation de documentaire et de fiction, avec Arte et la ZDF par exemple où, fidèle à l'esprit des troupes de théâtre, il tiendra tous les rôles, acteur, cadreur, monteur, réalisateur et scénographe.
Entre l’Amérique de Sud, l’Europe et l’Asie, fidèle à sa passion du voyage, il fait cohabiter les films pour la télévision et les créations vidéo pour le spectacle vivant.
Toujours curieux de nouvelles technologies comme l’Alioscopy qui permet une vision 3D sans lunettes, il explore encore d’autres mondes visuels et imaginaires. A partir de 2005 il expose régulièrement ces images lenticulaires et d'autres créations photographiques dans des foires d'Art et des galeries européennes.
Le tournage d'un portrait du sculpteur Giuliano Pedretti pour la télévision rétique lui fait découvrir l'Engadine dans les Alpes Suisses. Cette région mythique deviendra pour lui un nouveau terrain de créativité. Après avoir exposé ses explorations photographiques du monde alpin dans plusieurs galeries Suisses, il propose aux Archives Culturelles de la Haute Engadine de digitaliser leur collections afin de leur donner une nouvelle vie et de les transformer en oeuvres d'Art sous forme de photographies, de films et de projections. Une longue collaboration démarre.
Sa première grande exposition multimédia Wunderkammer Engadin à l'occasion de leur jubilée des 25 ans obtient le prix de reconnaissance de la société Suisse pour la protection des biens culturels.
Avec Dora Lardelli, la directrice des Archives, il fonde le programme AlpenMythenSehen (VoirMythesAlpins). Depuis 2013 il crée sous ce label régulièrement des installations multimédia et des mappings sur façade autour des thèmes comme les herbiers alpins, la Belle Époque, les sorcières, l'Art rupestre, le peintre Giovanni Segantini etc. dans des nombreux lieux historiques et des musées de l'arc alpin.
Entre novembre 2019 et mai 2020 le château de Lautrach en Allemagne présente une grande exposition d'oeuvres notamment photographiques issues de ce cycle de création.

crée en 2017 avec les Archives Culturelles à la Chesa Planta de Samedan fût présentée 2018/19 au musée Rétique de Coire en Suisse et en 2019/2020 au Théâtre de la Ville - Espace Cardin à Paris.
"Les créations de Mark Blezinger prennent vie à la croisée des différentes disciplines artistiques et des espaces de créations dans lesquels il a évolué. Images et Récits en sont les maîtres mots : les œuvres revendiquent leur appartenance au domaine de la figuration, une figuration explosive et troublante, jouant de tous les temps, de tous les lieux et de toutes les références, artistiques et mythologiques, sociétales et cosmiques. Une figuration, dont l’invisible présence sous-tend également les photographies de paysages naturels : pleines de cette inquiétante familiarité, ces œuvres photographiques accèdent certainement ici au statut de « portraits de paysage ». Au regard de son œuvre, le spectateur peut clairement faire l’expérience de ce voyage sensoriel que Mark Blezinger appelle de ses vœux : « ...si par miracle, ces images pouvaient sentir la terre ou faire résonner ce qui est caché en nous...". It startet the 28th of december 1962 in Baden-Baden, around 7pm, it seems.
He grew up in a magical landscape on the edge of Germany’s Black Forest alongside his ceramist mother, who transmitted to him a love of the wonders of nature and creation. With a passion for travel, he embarked on adventure at the age of 15, going to France to meet the Bread and Puppet Theater and the Théâtre du Soleil, troops with which he made his first appearance as a theater professional.
During summer vacations from school he set out to discover Europe until he started at the University of Paris 8 in Theater Studies. Very quickly he worked as assistant director, first in France in the Théâtre des Amandiers with Patrice Chéreau and then at the Schaubühne in Berlin. He assisted directors such as Luc Bondy, Klaus-Michael Grüber, Peter Stein, and Andrzej Wajda.
It was in Berlin before the fall of the wall, now a young father, that he presented his photographic work for the first time, in search of an expression of the emotions of the actors of the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz.
In 1989, the year of the fall of the wall, he returned to live in Paris, where he again collaborated with major directors such as Bob Wilson or Heiner Müller, and also created his first productions in Paris at the Théâtre de l'Odéon, at the Rond-Point Theater and the Avignon Festival. He then founded his own production company, Béla Compagnie.
This energy and these many experiences make him an organizer and a programmer of cultural events of the highest quality and international scope, with the Experimental Academy of Theaters for a period of six years and in particular with the Goethe Institute of Paris, for which he provided cultural programming for a season.
His passion for cinema led him to the techniques of image-movement and he launched into the creation of video for the theater and musical scene as well as the realization of documentary and fiction. This was done with Arte and the ZDF among others, where, faithful to the spirit of theater troupes, he played all the roles of actor, cameraman, editor, director, and scenographer.
True to his passion for travel, he brings together films for television and video creations for live performance in such varied places as South America, Europe, and Asia.
Always curious about new technologies like Alioscopy, which allows 3D vision without glasses, he further explores other visual and imaginary worlds. Since 2005 he has regularly exhibited these lenticular images and his photographic creations in European art fairs and galleries.
The filming of a portrait of the sculptor Giuliano Pedretti for retic television led him to discover the Engadine in the Swiss Alps. This mythical region became for him a new field of creativity. After exhibiting his explorations of the Alpine world in several Swiss galleries, he proposed to the Cultural Archives of the Upper Engadine to digitize their collections in order to transform them into works of art in the form of photographs, films and projections. A long collaboration thus ensued.
His first major multimedia exhibition Wunderkammer Engadin on the occasion of their 25th anniversary celebrated winning the recognition prize from the Swiss society for the protection of cultural property.
With Dora Lardelli, Director of Archives, he founded the AlpenMythenSehen program (SeeAlpineMyth). Since 2013 he has regularly created multimedia installations and projections onto buildings and other facades under under the aegis of AlpenMythenSehen around themes such as alpine herbaria, the Belle Epoque, witches, rock art, the painter Giovanni Segantini, to name a few, in many historic places and museums in the Alpine arc.
The traveling exhibition Laterna Magica. The Art of projection created in 2017 with the Cultural Archives in the attic of the Chesa Planta in Samedan was presented afterwards at the Musée Rétique de Chur and through January 2020 at the Théâtre de la Ville - Espace Cardin in Paris.
Lautrach Castle in Germany is presenting a large exhibition of works, notably photographic, from this cycle through May 2020.
"Mark Blezinger's creations come to life at the crossroads of the different artistic disciplines and the creative spaces in which he has evolved. Images and Stories are the key words: the works trace their belonging to the domain of figuration, an explosive figuration and disturbance, playing from all times, from all places and from all references, artistic and mythological, societal and cosmic. A figuration whose invisible presence also underlies the photographs of natural landscapes: full of this disturbing familiarity, these photographic works certainly reach the status of “landscape portraits” here. With regard to his work, the viewer can clearly experience this sensory journey that Mark Blezinger calls for: "... if by some miracle, these images could smell the earth or resonate what is hidden in us ...". A journey always in progress, experience always renewed, an enchanted round, perpetuum mobile…"
